Interned summer 2008 and completed several large interactive and dynamic graphics that were published on rockymountainnews.com. One major focus was coverage of the Democratic National Convention which included the development of an all-inclusive interactive map and shooting still photos during the convention.

Assisted students in learning how to create news graphics for both a print environment and the web. Duties included teaching software such as Illustrator, Flash and ArcGIS. Also was responsible for helping students learn design and data visualization principles.

Performed environmental impact surveys, traffic surveys and sociological impact assessments. Responsibilities included data collection in the field and both graphical and textual analysis of the collected data for use in reports. Duties also included the advanced use of ArcGIS software for spatial analysis and field work preparation.
